  5. The Website uses personal data for the following purposes: – Running a newsletter

      •  Delivering ordered services

  6. The Website collects information about users and their behavior by: 
    1. data voluntarily entered in forms, which are entered into the Operator’s systems; 
    2. storingcookies on end devices.

2. Selected data protection methods used by the Operator

  1. Login areas and places where personal data are entered are protected at the transmission layer (SSL certificate). Thanks to this, personal data and login data entered on the site are encrypted on the user’s computer and can be read only on the target server. 
  2. Personal data stored in the database are encrypted in such a way that only the Operator holding the key can read themThis protects the data in case the database is stolen from the server.
  3. User passwords are stored in hashed form. The hashing function is one-way its operation cannot be reversed, which is the current standard for storing user passwords.
  4. The Operator periodically changes administrative passwords. 
  5. To protect data, the Operator regularly makes backups.
  6. An important element of data protection is regularly updating all software used by the Operator to process personal data, in particular regular updates of software components.

  1. The Website is hosted (technically maintained) on the servers of: cyberFolks.pl.

4. Your rights and additional information on how data are used

  1. In some cases the Controller has the right to transfer your personal data to other recipients if it is necessary to perform a contract concluded with you or to fulfill obligations incumbent on the Controller. This applies to the following groups of recipients:
    • hosting company under entrustment,
    • authorized employees and collaborators who use the data to operate the site,
    • companies providing marketing services for the Controller.
  2. Your personal data are processed by the Controller no longer than necessary to perform activities related to them as specified by separate regulations (e.g., accounting). With regard to marketing data, the data will not be processed for longer than 3 years. 
  3. You have the right to request from the Controller:
    • access to your personal data,
    • rectification,
    • deletion,
    • restriction of processing, 
    • and data portability.
  4. You have the right to object to the processing indicated in point 3.3(c) against the processing of personal data for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Controller, including profiling; the right to object cannot be exercised if there are valid, legally justified grounds for processing, overriding your interests, rights and freedoms, in particular establishing, pursuing or defending claims. 
  5. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw. 
  6. Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary to use the Website.
  7. Automated decision -making, including profiling, may be applied to you for the purpose of providing services under the concluded contract and for the Controller’s direct marketing.
  8. Personal data are not transferred to “third countries” within the meaning of personal data protection regulations. This means we do not send them outside the European Union. 

5. Information in forms

  1. The Website collects information voluntarily provided by the userincluding personal data if provided. 
  2. The Website may store information about connection parameters (time stamp, IP address). 
  3. In some cases, the Website may save information that facilitates linking form data with the email address of the user filling out the form. In such a case the user’s email address appears inside the URL of the page containing the form. 
  4. Data provided in the form are processed for the purpose resulting from the function of a given form, e.g., handling a service request or commercial contact, service registration, etc. Each time, the context and description of the form clearly inform what it is used for.

  1. Information about user behavior on the site may be logged. These data are used for site administration. 

7. Important marketing techniques

  1. The Operator uses statistical analysis of website traffic via Google Analytics (Google Inc., USA). The Operator does not provide the operator of this service with personal data, only anonymized information. The service uses cookies on the user’s end device. For information about preferences collected by Google’s advertising network, the user can view and edit the information derived from cookies using: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/
  2. The Operator uses remarketing techniques that allow advertising messages to be tailored to the user’s behavior on the site. This may create the impression that the user’s personal data are being used to track them; however, in practice no personal data are transferred by the Operator to advertising operators. The technological condition for such actions is enabled cookies. 
  3. The Operator uses the Facebook pixel. This technology means that Facebook (Facebook Inc., USA) knows that a given registered person is using the Website. In this case the service relies on data for which it is itself the controller; the Operator does not transfer any additional personal data to Facebook. The service uses cookies on the user’s end device.
  4. The Operator uses a solution that automates the operation of the Website for users, e.g., it can send an email to a user after they visit a specific subpage, provided they have consented to receive commercial correspondence from the Operator. 

8. Information about cookies

  1. The Website uses cookies.
